Resumo(s)
Exports are a fundamental driver of economic development, particularly in countries like
Palestine, where they can help alleviate unemployment, trade deficits, and economic
dependency. On one hand, this research conducts a country-level analysis, benchmarking
Palestine against comparable economies such as Serbia, Kosovo, and Burundi to identify best
practices adaptable to its unique context. On the other hand, it employs a product-level analysis
using metrics such as Revealed Comparative Advantage, Product Complexity, and Density
indices to uncover opportunities for Palestine to diversify its exports toward higher-value-added
products. The study provides evidence-based policy recommendations to address structural
barriers, foster exports, and integrate Palestine into global markets, thereby supporting
sustainable economic growth.
