Resumo(s)
This study examines the relationship between remote work, work-life balance and burnout levels
in consulting firms and the moderating role of autonomy in scheduling remote workdays. Factors
such as age, gender, nationality, career level, and team diversity were also explored. A survey with
106 consultants, followed by statistical analyses in SPSS showed no significant impact of remote
work or autonomy on burnout but long hours and weekend work strongly contribute to emotional
exhaustion, one of the dimensions of burnout. Team diversity mitigates burnout associated with
weekend work. This highlights a need for systemic changes to manage workloads and enhance
wellbeing.
