A programação cultural nos municípios portugueses, no âmbito das artes do espectáculo, concretiza-se essencialmente através dos teatros municipais. Nesse sentido considera‐se pertinente investigar junto de quem gere e programa os Teatros Municipais, o que significa programar um Teatro Municipal, quais os
objectivos e critérios de programação, e analisar os dados programáticos.
No presente trabalho apresentam-se três estudos de caso de municípios contíguos e periféricos em relação à capital de distrito: Albergaria-a-Velha, Estarreja e Ílhavo. A intenção é analisar a programação e identificar estratégias comuns e distintas de actuação dos três Teatros Municipais – Cineteatro Alba, Cineteatro Estarreja e Centro Cultural de Ílhavo -- que apresentam programação regular desde que reinaugurados
e inaugurado.
The cultural programming in Portuguese municipalities, within the performing arts, takes place, above all, in the Municipal Theaters. In this sense it is considered pertinent to investigate with whom manages and programs Municipal Theatres, what means to program a Municipal Theatre, which are the programming objectives and criteria, and to analyse the programming. In this work we present three case studies of contiguous municipalities and peripherals in relation to the district capital: Albergaria-a-Velha, Estarreja and Ilhavo. The objective is to analyze the programming and identify common and distinct strategies of the three Municipal Theatres – Alba Theater, Estarreja Theatre and the Cultural Centre of Ílhavo – that have been regularly programming since reopened and opened.
