O presente trabalho, intitulado “Colocação Terminológica nos Documentos Utilizados pelo Centro de Formação de Jornalistas (CEFOJOR) - Angola”, enquadra-se num intercâmbio de relações bilaterais entre Angola e Portugal, e integra-se num projecto que visa o levantamento e estudo da terminologia da Administração Pública Angolana. Temos como objectivo a criação de um recurso terminológico que auxilie a formação dos jornalistas em Angola.
A organização da terminologia contribui para a estabilização do conhecimento podendo-se, consequentemente, contribuir para uma comunicação sem ambiguidade no domínio do jornalismo, onde o estudo das colocações se revela pertinente no processo de ensino-aprendizagem, no âmbito da formação que o centro leva a cabo.
Assim, seleccionámos um corpus do domínio jornalístico constituído por textos que são utilizados no CEFOJOR, que depois de submetidos ao tratamento semi-automático serviu para a recolha de candidatos a termos. De seguida, tendo em conta alguns pressupostos teóricos e metodológicos que foram explicitados, analisámos contextos em que as formas candidatos a termos apareciam com o objectivo de extrair colocações. E para a apresentação dos nossos resultados, tendo em conta o público-alvo, sugerirmos um modelo de base de dados para a disponibilização das informações do nosso estudo.
The present work, entitled “Terminological Collocation in the Documents Used by the Journalism Training Centre (CEFOJOR) – Angola”, fits into the context of an exchange programme between Angola and Portugal, and is part of a project that aims to survey and study the terminology used by the Public Administration in Angola. Our main goal is to create a terminological resource that can help training journalists in Angola. The organization of the terms used contributes to stabilize knowledge and can consequently promote unambiguous communication in the field of journalism, where the study of collocations is relevant for the teaching/learning process in the scope of the training activity of the centre. Thus, we selected a corpus in the journalism area consisting of texts used at CEFOJOR. After semiautomatic processing, this corpus was used to collect candidate terms. Afterwards, taking into consideration some theoretical and methodological assumptions, we analysed the contexts in which the candidate terms appeared in order to extract collocations. To present our results, and bearing in mind our target audience, we suggest a database model that can be used to make this information available.
