This internship report for the Supervised Teaching Test, carried out as part of the Master's Degree of Teaching Philosophy in Secondary School, has the primary objective of showing that Theodor W. Adorno's considerations on education are relevant to contemporary philosophy teaching and that the author's ideas can be applied in the context of Portuguese secondary education. In this work, I take stock of my activity as a trainee, trying to highlight the most important aspects of my training as a philosophy teacher. I try to develop which pedagogical approaches are most appropriate in this subject, as well as reflecting on the results of applying these approaches. Next, I present some of Theodor W. Adorno's considerations on education, namely the concept of cultural half-formation and the need for an education against barbarism. Finally, I try to take stock of the application of Adorno's ideas in practice, namely in two approaches: 1) educating students about the culture industry and 2) educating students in Philosophy through essay writing.
