complementar, foram analisados três casos de estudo: um centro de interpretação;
The present curricular project involves the development of the Iberian Wolf School, an interpretation center located in the village of Vale de Frades, in the municipality of Vimioso, district of Bragança, alongside the Wolf Trail, a pedestrian route for landscape interpretation. This initiative seeks to anchor knowledge about the Iberian wolf as an ethnobiological heritage of the Trás-os-Montes region, leveraging creative and sustainable communication formats. Firstly, a brief literature review was conducted on Rural Tourism and Nature Tourism, narrowing the focus to Wolf Tourism, an emerging segment centered on the observation and interpretation of the wolf and its habitat. Complementarily, three case studies were analyzed: an interpretation center, recreational initiatives, and a wildlife observation tourism company. The aim was to deepen the understanding of activities focusing on this iconic species of Portuguese fauna, exploring how they can catalyze rural development in areas characterized by peripheral isolation and population aging. Finally, the project presents a detailed description of the permanent exhibition, structural resources, preliminary educational offerings, and an analysis of the implementation process and exhibition resources. The work concludes with suggestions for future directions to enhance the recognition of the potential of Wolf Tourism, as well as the ethics associated with this sector.
