O presente relatório apresenta o trabalho desenvolvido no âmbito do estágio curricular
realizado no Mosteiro de Alcobaça entre setembro de 2023 e maio de 2024, no âmbito do
Mestrado em História da Arte, na área de especialização em Artes da Época Moderna e
da Expansão.
Este relatório divide-se em quatro capítulos, sendo o primeiro dedicado à apresentação
do Mosteiro de Alcobaça, o seu contexto histórico e artístico, e a sua importância durante
a Época Moderna. No segundo capítulo é feita uma explicação de todas as tarefas
realizadas e aprendizagens adquiridas, com a descrição de alguns exemplos práticos. O
terceiro capítulo foca-se em dois estudos de caso sobre os retábulos que foram objeto de
estudo durante o estágio. Finalizando o estudo, o quarto capítulo apresenta as respetivas
fichas de catálogo sobre as suas esculturas. Por fim, nas considerações finais é feita uma
reflexão global sobre toda a experiência de estágio e sobre as aprendizagens e
conhecimentos que levarei para o futuro.
The present report presents the work developed as part of the curricular internship held at the Monastery of Alcobaça between September 2023 and May 2024, as part of the Master's Degree in Art History, in the area of expertise on Early Modern and Maritime Expansion Arts. This report is divided into four chapters, the first of which is dedicated to presenting the Monastery of Alcobaça, its historical and artistic context, and its importance during the Modern Period. The second chapter explains all the tasks carried out and the lessons learnt, describing some practical examples. The third chapter focuses on two case studies of the altarpieces that were studied during the internship. Concluding the study, the fourth chapter presents the respective catalogue sheets on their sculptures. Finally, the concluding remarks provide an overall reflection on the whole internship experience and the learning and knowledge I will take with me into the future.
