This thesis explores how a Costa Rican company can organize itself to leverage competitive
resources using ISO 9001:2015 as a framework for quality management system
implementation. Focusing on Clauses 4 through 6, the study illustrates the application of
organizational context analysis, leadership development, and actionable planning. Notably,
Clauses 4.4 and 5.3 form the foundation of the quality management system. The findings are
specific to this company and are not intended for broader generalization. Limitations include
the scope of implementation and resource constraints that prevented official certification and
KPI measurement. Future research should focus on full implementation and KPI validation.
