Resumo(s)
Small and Medium Enterprises are generally seen as economic development sources, making
their growth of utmost importance. Unfortunately, however, this growth may not be possible
exclusively in the domestic soil, as the market potential may be too small to generate scale. This
is the situation that Company Beta found itself in and so this report aims to propose a suitable
plan for its internationalization. The goal of this study was to examine the Nigerian market in
order to determine if Company Beta would want to expand internationally there. To identify
the important underlying variables in the setting, exploratory and qualitative research have been
carried out. A thorough evaluation of the literature examined significant factors that made it
possible to conduct a thorough market study of this nation. They include: networking, rivalry
(competitors' cluster analysis or strategic group analysis map), which in my instance was
strategic group analysis. Next are corporate sales potential and overall market sales potential,
followed by market entry requirements.
From the standpoint of the Small and Medium Enterprises Competitiveness and
Internationalisation field Lab by Nova SBE, this study and analysis was conducted to determine
if Nigeria satisfies the requirements to ensure a successful internationalization.
