Resumo(s)
This thesis investigates Ørsted's sustainable energy expansion, focusing on its entry into
Poland and potential internationalization, particularly in Chile. Through qualitative analysis
and quantitative modeling, Chile emerges as a promising market. Recommendations
include strategic partnerships, financial leveraging, community engagement, and
environmental mitigation. The individual research emphasizes the impact of foreign direct
investment (FDI) on economic growth, using Ørsted's investment in Poland to illustrate
FDI's potential for technology transfer, human capital accumulation, and domestic
investment. This also stresses Poland's need to enhance its absorptive capacity to maximize
the benefits of such investments
