Resumo(s)
Currently, AAJUDE is dedicated to welcoming the largest possible number of people with
disabilities and helping them lead fulfilling lives. AAJUDE provides a supportive community
that fosters self-development through the provision of services such as a residential home, and
an activity and training center, all focused on promoting inclusion and the well-being of this
community. Although AAJUDE recognizes the urgent need for more social response,
especially a solution for its 400-people waiting list, its hands are tied, with its center
at full capacity and a client rotation of almost zero. Therefore, this project defines and develops
a new sustainable community center able to provide, at least, weekly activities and daycare to
some of the intellectually disabled people that are stuck at home without anything to do. Our
focus is on redefining the core activities, marketing, and
organizational structure, and concludes with a clear and potentially sustainable financial path
for the new community center.
