This paper explores the performance of BEEP in the Business in Practice program, an
automotive manufacturer transitioning to electric vehicles with a focus on its Finance,
Operations and Marketing departments. The analysis highlights BEEPās initial struggles with
overproduction, poor marketing and projections of demand that led to financial difficulties.
The study highlights strategic shifts and cross-departmental alignment led to BEEPās
recovery. Following the analysis is a personal reflection, discussing the lessons learned from
the simulation regarding effective working in teams, leadership challenged and decision
making. They emphasize the importance of psychological safety, trust and leveraging diverse
strengths in teams.
