Resumo(s)
This thesis explores the efficacy of AI in healthcare, focusing on efficiency, accuracy, and
usability. It includes insights from healthcare professionals, start-ups, and consulting firms,
examining AI's impact across medical applications during the COVID-19 pandemic. The
findings suggest that while AI's advancement is broadly positive, it cannot replace human
judgment in healthcare. The study highlights AI's supportive role and emphasizes the potential
for knowledge transfer across healthcare domains. It concludes with a call for collaborative
efforts to address ethical concerns and formulate strategies for integrating AI into healthcare,
ensuring it augments rather than replaces human expertise.
