One common thing for every European club that has experienced recent international success is
the use of data in their decision-making process. Likewise, all the most reputable companies
worldwide, from tech to healthcare, have their decisions supported by complex data systems.
This project aims to provide a solution that can introduce data to many Portuguese clubs,
enabling a measurable competitive advantage through an innovative business model. The
concept was validated with the help of 16 football industry experts and resulted in a prototype
that allows FootOwl to start operating in the market and creating value for clients.
