This paper examines the role of family structure on the Job Satisfaction-Life Satisfaction
relationship. Centering on the Bottom-Up theory, the study examined the following moderators
to assess the influence of JS on LS: childcare, elderly care, relationship status, relationship
satisfaction, partner support. This study utilized a questionnaire survey methodology. Data was
collected from 269 respondents. Results were analyzed with SPSS using a linear regression
analysis. The findings suggest that childcare, elderly care, and relationship status do not emerge
as significant moderators. Relationship satisfaction and partner support significantly, and
negatively moderate the effect Job Satisfaction has on Life Satisfaction.
