Abstract: Talent-related challenges have long been inherent to the hotel industry, yet the absence of research exploring technology’s implementation and its impact on talent attraction and retention remains. Given the phenomenon of the Great Resignation, this study seeks to offer insights on how to leverage technology to navigate talent shortages, focusing particularly on the highly impacted hotel sector. A combination of qualitative and quantitative methods incorporating interviews and surveys was chosen to investigate the impact of technology on this challenge. Results show that technology and its strategic implementation present great potential in addressing the attraction and retention of hotel employees.
