Resumo(s)
In a VUCA (volatile, uncertain, complex and ambiguous) environment, soft skills
development for crisis coping is indisputable. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design, through
experiential-based training model developed, employing Thomas-Kilmann and LEAPS
communication frameworks, this study examines the efficacy of an online conflict
management intervention for prospective managers. Results from pre-/post-/follow-up
analyses’ comparisons with control group indicated high satisfaction, knowledge acquisition
and improved self-efficacy post-intervention, underscoring training effectiveness. This
research thus provides insights for organizations and educational institutions seeking to foster
effective conflict management skills amid dynamic environments and suggest that such
training can positively influence attitudes towards crisis and change situations.
