This study investigates the challenges and strategies related to remote work and well-being for
managers and employees, using Van Horn et al.’s (2004) well-being model. The research
follows a mixed-method approach, involving qualitative and quantitative data with 8
participants and 75 respondents respectively, which revealed mixed perceptions on company
support and well-being initiatives. Challenges included technological hurdles, difficulty
separating work from home, and isolation feelings. Strategies to overcome these challenges
included providing resources for remote work adaptation, fostering open communication, and
encouraging teamwork. Both qualitative and quantitative data highlighted the significance of
tackling these issues to enhance remote workers’ well-being.
