This study investigates the perceived impact of Work-Life Balance (WLB),
Continuous Professional Development (CPD), and Remuneration on the job satisfaction and
performance of medical staff in professional football clubs. Utilizing a mixed-methods
approach, the research involved semi-structured interviews with football medical professionals
and a survey of broader medical personnel. Findings indicate that CPD and WLB are crucial
for job satisfaction and performance, while Remuneration, though important, is secondary. The
study contributes to existing literature by offering practical strategies to optimize football
medical departments, aiming to enhance job satisfaction and team performance.
