Analisamos a obra do cineasta Franco Piavoli através da perspetiva deste autor em relação
ao ser humano, à natureza, e consequente relação entre os dois. Com base nos elementos
formais da arte cinematográfica procuramos responder à caracterização da perspetiva do
autor no que respeita ao assunto. A análise é realizada partindo do estudo da biografia do
realizador, através de uma entrevista e investigação bibliográfica. São ainda expostas as
relações entre as visões filosóficas e científicas do humano relativas à sua posição no
cosmos e a forma como se manifestam na arte. Concluímos com uma análise detalhada
da filmografia do realizador, onde demonstramos como o trabalho de imagem, som e
montagem manifestam a perspetiva do realizador, revelando uma obra que põe em causa
a perspetiva antropocêntrica do ser humano.
We analyze the work of filmmaker Franco Piavoli through the author's perspective on human beings, nature, and the connection between the two. Based on the formal elements of cinematographic art, we try to respond to the characterization of the author's perspective on the subject. The analysis is conducted by studying the director's biography, through an interview and bibliographical research. This is followed by an exploration of the relationship between the philosophical and scientific views of humans in terms of their position in the cosmos and how that is expressed through art. Finally, we set out to analyze the director's filmography in detail shining light on a body of the work, that through image, sound, and editing, reflects the director's outlook in the world, revealing a filmography that challenges the anthropocentric perspective of the human being.
