O presente relatório corresponde a realização do estágio curricular no âmbito da
componente não letiva do Mestrado em Ciência Política e Relações Internacionais,
realizado na Comissão Nacional de Eleições. O estágio se concretizou no Gabinete de
Estudos e Cooperações da Comissão e em uma pesquisa e análise a respeito de dados do
European Social Survey, além de outros procedimentos de apoio e observação das
eleições que ocorreram em Portugal no ano de 2024, nomeadamente as eleições
legislativas e para o Parlamento Europeu. Dividido em quatro capítulos, o relatório
começa por demarcar a história legal e institucional da CNE, sua estrutura, seus serviços
e funções. O epicentro do trabalho está na descrição das atividades do estágio e na
conclusão dele. O relatório contém uma componente de investigação, focando na temática
da abstenção, suas possíveis causas e seu percurso em Portugal. Por fim, possui uma breve
análise sobre as últimas eleições legislativas de 2022 e 2024 e as do Parlamento Europeu
de 2019 e 2024.
This report corresponds to the completion of the curricular internship within the scope of the non-teaching component of the Master's Degree in Political Science and International Relations, carried out at the National Elections Commission. The internship took place at the Commission's Studies and Cooperation Office and involved research and analysis of European Social Survey data, as well as other support and observation procedures for the elections that took place in Portugal in 2024, namely the legislative and European Parliament elections. Divided into four chapters, the report begins by outlining the legal and institutional history of the Comission, its structure, services and functions. The epicenter of the work is the description of the internship activities and its conclusion. The report contains a research component, focusing on the issue of abstention, its possible causes and its course in Portugal. Finally, there is a brief analysis of the last legislative elections in 2022 and 2024 and the European Parliament elections in 2019 and 2024.
