Resumo(s)
The 46 Gt greenhouse gas emissions is starting to be felt at a global level, driving
Earth to a burning platform. Therefore, an electrical transition of the energy sector generated
through alternative sources represents a reliable solution to reverse this situation. Which
combined with the adoption of behavioural changes could result in a decrease of 20 Gt.
The effect of the continuous emission of greenhouse gases is starting to be felt at a
global level, having reached 46Gt of GHG emissions last year, driving Earth to a burning
platform. Despite the recent efforts from international entities, most of these emissions are a
result of human activity, mostly coming from the fossil fuels used to generate energy, which
evidences there is an urgent need to transform this sector. Several governments have already
shown a political consensus, and an electrical transition of the energy sector generated
through alternative sources may represent a reliable solution to reverse this situation
