Os livros de gravuras antigas chinesas são obras de arte em contexto dos
conceitos de diferentes épocas e dos pensamentos estéticos. Por conseguinte, é
necessário efetuar um estudo sistemático da apreciação estética dos livros de gravura
da China Antiga, com base na teoria da edição de livros antigos, da filologia,
integrando a estética tradicional e o pensamento artístico chineses, e tendo em conta
as fontes, as ilustrações, os seus formatos, capas, encadernações e decorações,
técnicas de gravação, papel e tinta, selos de colecionador, bem como postilas e
posfácio de eruditos famosos. Entre eles, a seleção e divulgação do estilo caligráfico
de livros antigos reflete a transformação da naturalização para a padronização da
estética das fontes nesses livros. As ilustrações têm as características da época e do
desenvolvimento, devido à influência mútua de diferentes estilos regionais,
desenvolvimento de capacidades criativas e intervenção de eruditos. Os estudos dos
formatos, as capas, as encadernações e as decorações dos livros de gravura antigos
evoluíram continuamente, revelando uma beleza artística única.
Esta dissertação apresenta principalmente os aspetos mais importantes da
impressão de livros antigos chineses, tais como a caligrafia, a ilustração, o formato e a
encadernação. Por fim, explora o novo caminho da impressão e gravação de livros
antigos através do intercâmbio de ideias entre o Oriente e o Ocidente.
Chinese ancient print books are works of art created by the concepts of each era and aesthetic thoughts. Therefore, it is necessary to carry out an exhaustive and systematic study on the aesthetic appreciation of ancient Chinese engraving books, based on the theory of ancient book publishing, philology, integrating Chinese traditional aesthetics and artistic thought, and taking full account of the sources, engraved illustrations, their formats, covers, bindings and decorations, engraving techniques, paper and ink, collector's stamps, as well as postils and postscripts of famous scholars. Among them, the selection and dissemination of the calligraphic style of ancient books reflects the transformation from naturalization to the standardization of the aesthetics of ancient book engraving fonts. Engraving illustrations have the characteristics of the time and development, due to the mutual influence of different regional styles, the development of creative abilities and the intervention of scholars. Studies of the formats, covers, bindings and decorations of antique engraving books continually evolved, revealing a unique artistic beauty. This dissertation mainly presents the most important aspects of ancient Chinese book printing, such as calligraphy, illustration, format and binding. Finally, it explores the new path of printing and engraving ancient books through the exchange of ideas between East and West.
