Resumo(s)
This thesis examines the European Recovery and Resilience Program (RRP) with a focus on
Portugal's National Recovery and Resilience Plan and the Mobilizing Agendas for Business
Innovation (MABI). Initially, it offers a historical overview of the RRP and analyzes Portugal's
socio-economic challenges pre-Covid-19. Through sector-specific case studies, the research
identifies key determinants influencing entity eligibility for funding, showcasing dynamics in
several thematic areas such as Cross Cutting Technologies, Industries and Production
Technologies, Mobility, Space and Logistics, Natural Resources and Environment and Health,
Well-Being, and Territory. Finally, the study introduces a comprehensive evaluation
methodology for the program, combining empirical data, theoretical insights, and
recommendations, to provide a thorough understanding of MABI, its hurdles, and future
potential.
