Resumo(s)
The present thesis explores the criticalness of innovation metrics in companies,
working alongside Portugal Technology Solutions (PTS)1
. This study proposes an innovation
monitoring system to bridge the divide between innovation and operations by developing KPIs
geared to capture the former. To ascertain this, the study incorporates the innovation KPIs
framework proposed by Zhen et al. (2009) into a survey for the company’s managers and
specialists. The report also emphasises the possibility of transposal of the applied methods to
implement innovation KPIs to achieve organisational alignment in similar technological and
disruptive businesses.
