Resumo(s)
This dissertation presents a scoping review of the existing literature on emotional intelligence
and ethical leadership. It aims to provide a holistic overview of the published academic literature.
Using a systematic approach to identify 23 relevant articles, the underlying scope and
distribution of the reviewed data is outlined. Emerging themes and significant academic and
managerial implications are highlighted. Recognizing the limitations of this dissertation, this
study emphasizes the urgency for further systematic research to advance the thematic area. In
conclusion, this paper is essential to inform and guide future academic contributions and
resulting management practices.
