Resumo(s)
Companies are facing increasing pressure from stakeholders to integrate ESG factors into their
businesses. SMEs particularly struggle in adopting sustainable practices largely due to their
lack of resources. The B Corp framework can help businesses address ESG factors by
holistically assessing social and environmental contributions alongside profit. There is limited
guidance on tested mechanisms SMEs can utilise to integrate more socially responsible business
practices into their operations. This study investigates the current B Corp challenges and
enabling factors using a qualitative research design to provide insights on how SMEs can
advance their environmental and social agendas.
