In our collaborative work project, we, Zeynep Nisan Gündüz and Luiza-Madleen Alice Pechel,
explored the initial steps towards solving an identified problem relevant to society by
addressing it with impact entrepreneurship and a lean startup approach. Our project focuses on
developing Sereneo, which can be seen as a holistic digital health platform designed to assist
and guide women in managing their hormonal fluctuations after discontinuing hormonal
contraceptives. Our work encompasses an examination of the concrete problem, its impact on
women’s lives, the ideation of a potential solution and its prototyping in form of the MVP.
While Zeynep was responsible for the first part, focusing on researching and validating the
problem, Luiza looked at the ideation process and was responsible for the prototype and its
testing and adaptation. We extend our appreciation to the medical professionals, test persons,
and IT experts who generously shared their time and expertise with us, providing invaluable
feedback that has enriched our understanding of this complex field and guided our venture's
development.
