The creative industry, marked by a portfolio labor market and project-based work, has seen an
increased economic and societal impact. This dissertation explores the relationship between job
satisfaction, life satisfaction, and industry characteristics. Analyzing a survey (n = 71) with the
Satisfaction with Life Scale and Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire, it uncovers a small significant link between job and life satisfaction. Autonomy is a crucial job satisfaction determinant, and job security works as a moderator in this population. The study emphasizes the imperative to foster autonomy and secure work environments, offering insights for practitioners
and theorists in this dynamic field.
