Resumo: This master's thesis presents a business plan for an innovative approach to reduce postoperative bleeding, a critical healthcare problem with health, social, and economic implications. It proposes a preoperative supplementation of arachidonic acid (AA), microencapsulated for improved efficacy. This strategy is based on recent research that connects higher levels of AA to a lower risk of bleeding. It aims to improve patient outcomes and sustainably reduce healthcare costs. The plan targets the growing healthcare market, particularly in cardiovascular care. It contains market analysis, customer insights, a value chain overview, and financial analyses.
