This master's thesis presents a business plan for an innovative approach to reduce postoperative
bleeding, a critical healthcare problem with health, social, and economic implications. It
proposes a preoperative supplementation of arachidonic acid (AA), microencapsulated for
improved efficacy. This strategy is based on recent research that connects higher levels of AA
