| Abstract: | Lean 2.0 initiative was implemented on Aptiv with the goal to increase productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction. Nevertheless, the theorical base of the initiative did not allow for a direct impact evaluation. Instead, the Commercial Competence Team, a sales administrative team, that resulted from Lean 2.0, was used as a correlated measure. The results of the Commercial Competence Center were overall optimistic, as they had a positive operational, financial and organizational performance, as demonstrated by the 55% decrease in backlog quotation and the 23% improve in financial margin. Therefore, the Lean 2.0 was determined as successful for enterprise value creation. |
