The rapid emergence of new technologies has significantly influenced the insurance industry,
driving transformation and innovation in business models. This work project investigates the
impact of technologies, such as smart devices and artificial intelligence (AI), on developing
insurance offerings and customer experiences. The analysis of the business model canvas
reveals that integrating advanced technologies enables insurers to deliver more personalized,
flexible, and cost-effective solutions, resulting in improved customer satisfaction and retention.
Moreover, the study identifies the importance of data-driven decision-making and proactive
risk management as crucial factors in driving the success of new business models in the
insurance industry.
