The study represents a master dissertation, that is a research project with objective is to identify the
referral pattern between primary care physicians and specialists using network science. The referral
network represents significant impact on improving healthcare effectiveness. Understanding
powerful features that have stronger clustering effect on referral network and the referral patterns
differed from physician needs and geographical characteristics can predict an adequate referral
relationship. Graph Neural Networks model was applied on this study which conducted a social
network consists of nodes to be physicians, edges are the referrals from one physician to another
and the shared patients represents weights of edges.
