Nowadays, sustainability is a frequently discussed topic. People have more concern about the
environment and social issues. As awareness of sustainability is increasing, businesses also
need to adapt and satisfy the demand. The fast fashion industry, in particular, has been
chastised for its negative impact on sustainability. As a consequence, fast fashion businesses
put an emphasis on sustainability to promote their ethical practices to their consumers,
creating a better image in their eyes. Therefore, this paper demonstrates the study of fast
fashion brands with sustainability efforts as well as the paradox of fast fashion and
sustainability.
