This study examines the impact of Tony Chocolonely's business model on forced labour and
child labour in the chocolate industry. By analysing the company's history, mission, and
financial statements, the study finds that Tony Chocolonely's approach to sustainability has
reduced instances of forced and child labour in cocoa farms. The study also explores the
complex and fragmented supply chain in the chocolate industry, providing examples to
illustrate the issue.
