Resumo(s)

This research aims to expand knowledge in the field of strategic management – broadly applied to creative businesses and particularly to the audiovisual industry. Its primary objective is to determine the critical factors that contribute to the competitive advantage of audiovisual companies, with a specific focus on the Portuguese audiovisual market. The correct and timely identification of these factors provides a means by which an organisation can assess the threats and opportunities of its external environment and a set of criteria to evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of the company; with that in mind, it is formulated that knowing and fulfilling the critical success factors is essential to succeed.
