The International Development sector is vital for addressing socioeconomic issues and driving
sustainable progress. Companies operating in this complex and competitive environment face
challenges in securing and executing projects funded by International Organizations. This
study analyzes CESO's strategy for expanding its geographical reach and highlights the
importance of offering differentiated services and forming value-adding partnerships in driving
the company's growth. This thesis includes a Case Study on CESO's geographical
diversification, a Project Evaluation Report examining strategic partnerships as a critical factor
for diversification, and two teaching notes on CESO's competitive advantage in Backstopping,
and the challenges of reference requirements.
