Emma – The Sleep Company offers products surrounding sleep on a direct-to-consumer business
model. To grow further into the Smart Sleep Technology industry, the company is developing a
Smart Panel to be integrated into a wooden bed’s headboard. This project aims to identify product
development recommendations based on insights from qualitative and quantitative research results
that investigated the users’ needs for the Emma Smart Panel. Recommendations include the eval uation of features and pricing strategies, together with suggestions for value proposition and posi tioning. The underlying recommendation is to offer the product at a high price point as a halo
product.
