Reflecting on the “Business in Practice” experience, this report ex amines “HUMBA Motors”, a simulated car manufacturer transi tioning to sustainable mobility.
Analysis of the innovation, human resource, and operations func tions uncovers vital cross-functional interactions influencing over all performance. Comparative assessment against both simulation
peers and real industry players highlights HUMBA's strengths and
weaknesses.
Working in a team of seven students – each member obtaining one
of the relevant business functions – resulted not only in business
challenges but also in team dynamics complexities. Reflections on
personal leadership styles and adept communication of complex is sues yield valuable insights shaping the student's future leadership
journey.
