In order to develop a successful and long-lasting revenue stream for the mattress manufacturer
Emma, this work project investigates whether there is a market for "Sleep as a Service" in
Germany. Emma Rent, a mattress rental service, was established following qualitative and
quantitative research. Following the STP process and the establishment of the 7ps of the
marketing mix, a positioning statement for this service was developed, including a thorough
explanation of the People and Process components. A comprehensive financial analysis was
established along with a marketing plan and communication campaign.
