Resumo(s)
The work project explores how multinationals can lead the transformation into sustainable food
systems, essential to ensure future food nutrition and security. The Nescafé Plan case study
depicts how Nestlé promoted them by creating economic, social, and environmental value
through the optimisation of its coffee value chain. The evaluation report gives recommendations
to engage all stakeholders in the transition to cause effective change by improving
communication, building trust, and fostering innovation. The teaching note studies the Creating
Shared Value concept, emphasising the integration of sustainability in corporate strategy, and
the role of non-governmental organisations in a company’s sustainability journey.
