O presente relatório constitui uma análise retrospetiva do estágio curricular realizado na empresa Sintagma Traduções Lda., onde foram postas em prática e aprendidas competências de tradução e legendagem. No panorama atual de abundância, tanto de informação a comunicar como de recursos tecnológicos destinados a esse efeito, pretendo averiguar o papel da criatividade humana no contexto desta atividade. Conhecendo os desafios da tradução e as condicionantes técnicas da legendagem, será avaliada neste relatório a abordagem que favorece a transcriação e a hermenêutica enquanto estratégias não só de resposta, mas também necessárias a uma experiência dos conteúdos multimédia com maior valor lúdico e sociocultural.
The current report makes a retrospective analysis of a curricular internship at translation company Sintagma Traduções Lda., wherein various skills pertaining to translation and subtitling were practiced and acquired. Within the framework of the present day, defined by a wealth of information and technological resources which allow for its communication, my goal will be to ascertain the role of human creativity in such exchanges. Aware of the challenges of translation and the technical constraints of subtitling, this report aims to scrutinize a transcreational and hermeneutic approach as both a response and an imperative in the experience of multimedia content with greater entertainment and sociocultural value.
