Estágio na Cabral Moncada Leilões: Colaboração nos leilões presenciais, online e New Deal

Abstract

O presente relatório expõe a experiência de estágio curricular na leiloeira CABRAL MONCADA LEILÕES, que decorreu de Agosto de 2022 a Fevereiro de 2023, no âmbito das aprendizagens e das funções realizadas nos departamentos dos leilões presenciais e dos online. A CABRAL MONCADA LEILÕES é uma leiloeira situada em Lisboa, que se destina à avaliação, peritagem e venda de obras de arte e objectos artísticos de diferentes tipologias. Será no primeiro capítulo que se contextualizará o modus operandi desta empresa, que conta com diversos leilões presenciais, online e outros de carácter híbrido (New Deal) ao longo de todo o ano. A partir do seu propósito de divulgação e comercialização de bens culturais, apresenta-se nesse mesmo capítulo o posicionamento desta leiloeira no mercado nacional e internacional. A partir do terceiro capítulo, é elaborada a reflexão teórica dos diversos leilões desta instituição, que tenham integrado obras de Arte Moderna e Contemporânea. Esta temática surge por associação à especialização do mestrado, na qual desenvolvo todo o processo de concretização de cada um dos leilões e os critérios de selecção dos lotes com base nas aprendizagens adquiridas. Contudo, este trabalho de investigação da componente não-lectiva de mestrado finaliza com considerações finais sobre toda esta experiência e todo o estudo realizado neste novo campo curricular no meu percurso académico.

The present report exposes the curricular internship experience in the auction house CABRAL MONCADA LEILÕES, which took place from August 2022 to February 2023, in the scope of the learning and the functions carried out in the departments of the on-site and online auctions. CABRAL MONCADA LEILÕES is an auction house situated in Lisbon and dedicated to the evaluation, appraisal and sale of works of art and artistic objects of different types. The first chapter will contextualize the modus operandi of this company, which holds various on-site, online and other hybrid (New Deal) auctions throughout the year. From its purpose of dissemination and commercialization of cultural goods, it is presented in the same chapter the placement of this auction house in the national and international market. In the third chapter, a theoretical reflection is elaborated on the various auctions of this institution, which have integrated works of Modern and Contemporary Art. This theme arises by association with the specialization of the master's degree, in which I develop the whole process of implementation of each of the auctions and the selection criteria of the lots based on the learning acquired. However, this research work of the non-lective component of the Master's degree concludes with some final considerations about all this experience and all the study carried out in this new curricular field in my academic path.
