This paper analyzes the performance of Car Cavelos, an automotive company, in a business
simulation. It reviews the initial strategy and its implementation across operations and finance
functions. Mistakes like premature expansion efforts and product focus are discussed. Turnaround
actions leading to the eventual recovery are highlighted. The paper also includes a personal
reflection analyzing two critical incidents – the creation process of a team charter and a sales
roleplay. Key lessons learned regarding team dynamics, leadership, and personal skills
development are articulated. Overall, the thesis combines data-driven analysis of company
performance with reflective insights into individual growth.
