O presente relatório é o resultado da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada (PES) realizada no âmbito do Mestrado de Ensino da Geografia no 3.º Ciclo do Ensino Básico e no Ensino Secundário, da Faculdade de Ciências Socias e Humanas da Universidade Nova de Lisboa, para a obtenção do grau de mestre. A Prática de Ensino Supervisionada realizou-se no ano letivo de 2022/2023 na Escola Secundária Severim de Faria em Évora, sob a supervisão da Professora Cooperante Carmen Caeiro. O tema escolhido no início do ano letivo é apresentado e explorado ao longo deste relatório, baseando-se no contributo que as Ações Estratégicas de Ensino orientadas para o Perfil dos Alunos na disciplina de Geografia, têm nos cursos profissionais de Turismo. Com este tema pretende-se aferir o valor efetivo que as ações estratégicas de ensino têm nas aprendizagens e averiguar a opinião dos alunos relativamente às mesmas. Ao longo do relatório podemos verificar que o atual modelo dos cursos profissionais em Portugal tem ganho importância nos últimos anos. A Geografia tem
vindo a estar cada vez mais presente na estrutura curricular de Cursos Profissionais, sendo importante haver essa consciência por parte dos docentes recém-formados. O estudo do presente relatório mostra a opinião dos alunos sobre a disciplina ao longo da sua formação e ainda as considerações obtidas ao longo da Prática de Ensino Supervisionada com a aplicação das Ações Estratégicas de Ensino sustentadas em atividades práticas.
This report is the result of the Supervised Teaching Practice (PES) carried out within the scope of the Master's Degree in Geography Teaching at middle and high school levels of education, of the Faculty of Social and Human Sciences of Universidade Nova de Lisboa for the obtaining a master's degree. The Supervised Teaching Practice took place in the 2022/2023 school year at Severim de Faria Secondary School in Évora, under the guidance of Professor Carmen Caeiro. The theme chosen at the beginning of the school year is presented and explored throughout this report, based on the contribution that strategic teaching actions oriented towards the profile of students in the subject of Geography, have in professional courses in Tourism. With this theme, the aim is to assess the effect that strategic teaching actions have on learning and what is the opinion of students regarding them. Throughout the report we can see that professional courses in Portugal have gained importance in recent years. Geography has been increasingly present in the curricular structure of professional courses, and it is important to have this awareness on the part of newly graduated teachers. The study of this report shows the students' opinion about the discipline throughout their training and the considerations obtained throughout the Supervised Teaching Practice with the application of practical activities based on strategic teaching actions.
