Com este relatório, procurei traçar um mapa do trabalho editorial da Antígona, absorvido ao longo de cinco meses de estágio. Desde a compra de papel, da aquisição de direitos de publicação e dos métodos de avaliação de uma obra ao processo de colaboração com tradutores, revisores e promotores dos livros, este trabalho tentará oferecer uma visão ampla do modus operandi antigonesco, focando algumas tarefas específicas que tive a oportunidade de realizar, como a redação de comunicados de imprensa, a organização de eventos editoriais e ainda a reedição de uma obra clássica do catálogo da Antígona.
With this report I have tried to illustrate Antígona’s editorial process, experienced throughout five months of internship. From the purchase of the paper, publishing rights aquisition and evaluation of a manuscript, to the colaboration process between translators, revisors and book promoters, this report will try to draw an ample picture of Antígona’s modus operandi, focusing on a few specific tasks which I had the oportunity to develop, like the redaction of press releases, the organization of editorial events and the re-publishing of a classic in Antígona’s catalogue.
