O presente relatório diz respeito ao estágio curricular realizado na empresa Sintagma Traduções, no âmbito do Mestrado em Tradução da Faculdade de Ciências Sociais e Humanas da Universidade Nova da Lisboa e tem como objetivo documentar o trabalho efetuado, identificar os problemas e dificuldades tradutórios encontrados e as aprendizagens adquiridas, assim como caraterizar e descrever a utilização do OOONA, ferramenta utilizada durante o estágio e respetivas vantagens para o processo de legendagem. O estágio teve uma duração total de 400 horas, cumpridas entre 3 de setembro de 2021 e 30 de novembro do mesmo ano, tendo as minhas principais tarefas sido a tradução, do inglês para o português, a transcrição e a legendagem.
The present report describes my internship at Sintagma Traduções, as part of the Master’s Degree in Translation at the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of NOVA University Lisbon, and aims to document the work I carried out, identify the translation problems and difficulties I encountered and the lessons I learned, as well as describe and characterize the use of OOONA, the tool used during the internship, and its advantages for the subtitling process. The internship lasted a total of 400 hours, completed between 3 September 2021 and 30 November of the same year, with my main tasks being translation form English into Portugues, transcription, and subtitling.
