O presente relatório descreve a Prática de Ensino Supervisionada realizada pelo seu autor no âmbito do Mestrado em Ensino de Português e Inglês, no ano letivo de 2021/2022, no Externato Marista de Lisboa. A fundamentação teórica em que se baseou a prática, evidenciou a necessidade de abandonar a visão do texto como mero repositório de informações e aproveitar o potencial estético do texto literário, apontando as implicações desse abandono e desse aproveitamento para o ensino de língua materna e língua estrageira. Foram sugeridas soluções que conciliam o programa curricular com o objetivo de promover leituras estéticas, na aula de língua materna, e expostos os benefícios desta abordagem. Na aula de língua estrangeira, foi demonstrado que o aproveitamento do seu potencial estético de textos literários justifica a sua utilização por contribuir para a aprendizagem da língua e para o desenvolvimento de competências interculturais.
This report describes the Supervised Teaching Practice undertaken by its author as part of their master's degree in Portuguese and English Didactics during the academic year 2021/2022 at Externato Marista de Lisboa. The theoretical foundation upon which the practice was based highlighted the need to abandon the view of the text as a mere repository of information and instead harness the aesthetic potential of literary texts. The report discusses the implications of this shift and its application in both native language and foreign language teaching. Solutions were suggested to reconcile the curriculum with the objective of promoting aesthetic readings in the native language classroom, and the benefits of this approach were presented. In the foreign language classroom, it was demonstrated that the utilization of the aesthetic potential of literary texts justifies their use, as it contributes to language learning and the development of intercultural competences.
