Em que se pensa quando se pensa no outro? Num outro corpo? De que matéria é constituída a sensação de um corpo? O Som do Corpo é uma obra de investigação e performance sobre o binómio audição/visão aplicado aos corpos e às suas interacções. Este trabalho de projecto alberga a base de investigação e metodologia e o registo escrito de todo o processo académico e criativo que resultou numa conferência-performance apresentada na Galeria Zé dos Bois, em Maio de 2023. O questionamento inicial originou uma viagem entre os dois sentidos e o seu lugar na interacção entre o eu e o outro. A partir de gravações em modo binaural (realizadas numa câmara anecoica) foi construída uma paisagem sonora que alimentou um caminho
performativo para três intérpretes ao interagirem entre si e com o público. Pretendeu-se despertar uma maior sensibilidade sensorial na experiência com o outro e com o mundo e questionar o efeito destes sentidos na exploração da intimidade entre corpos.

O Som do Corpo is a research and performative work on the hearing/vision binomial applied to bodies and their interactions. This project houses the basis of research and methodology and the written record of the entire academic and creative process that resulted in a conference-performance presented at Galeria Zé dos Bois, in May 2023. The initial questioning led to a journey between the two senses and their place in the interaction between self and other. From binaural recordings (made in an anechoic chamber) a soundscape was constructed, which, in turn, served the performative aspect of the project, with three performers interacting between themselves and the audience. There was an aim to awaken a larger portion of sensorial sensitivity in the experience with another and with the world, questioning the effect of these senses as points of contact on the exploration of intimacy between bodies.
