O humor tem vindo a ganhar um lugar de destaque na comunicação política. Devido à hibridização dos géneros de programas, também tem havido uma hibridização dos papéis desempenhados pelos humoristas. O trabalho proposto consiste em analisar os efeitos do programa Isto é Gozar com Quem Trabalha na aquisição de conhecimentos sobre política e o impacto na opinião e participação política dos jovens portugueses na faixa etária dos 18-29 anos. Tendo em conta a análise dos episódios transmitidos antes das eleições legislativas de 2022, esta dissertação tem como principais objetivos suprir a carência académica desta temática, compreender se este programa serve como fonte de informação política e avaliar a influência na participação política. Foram realizados dois grupos de foco constituído por espectadores regulares e ocasionais deste programa. Concluiu-se que este programa de sátira política é usado muitas vezes como um complemento informativo às fontes tradicionais de informação, e que o programa de Ricardo Araújo Pereira incentivou os participantes do grupo dos espectadores regulares a estarem mais atentos à atualidade política e ao que cada partido propõe.
Humor has been gaining a prominent place in political communication. Due to the hybridization of media, there has also been a hybridization of the roles played by humorists. The proposed work consists in analyzing the effects of the show Isto é Gozar com Quem Trabalha on the acquisition of political knowledge and the impact on the opinion and political participation of young Portuguese in the 18-29 age group. Taking into account the analysis of the episodes broadcast before the 2022 legislative elections, this dissertation has as its main objectives to suppress the lack of academic studies on this topic, to understand if this program serves as a source of political information and to evaluate the influence on political participation. Two focus groups consisting of regular and occasional viewers of this program were conducted. It was concluded that this political satire show is often used as an informative complement to traditional sources of information, and that Ricardo Araújo Pereira's show encouraged the participants of the regular viewers group to be more attentive to political news and to what each political party proposes.
